How to Find a Basic Numbers


Any number can be reduced to a basic number. For example: Reduce 548,692 by adding each number - 5+4+8+6+9+2 = 34 then 3+4 = 7.


In numerology, numbers are reduced to a single digit, expect in the case of "Master Numbers," which we will not address here.


It does not matter in which order you add the numbers, or if you add part of them and then add the rest . . . the resulting digit will always be th same.


Reduce a birthdate - June 2,1954 - 6+2+1+9+5+4 = 27 then 2+7 = 9.


Reducing a word - Each letter has a relative number 1 - 9 as follows:

Another way to find the value of a letter is to simply give them the value of their order in the alphabet - such as "A" is the first letter, so has a value of "1." "Z" is the twenty-sixth letter in the alphabet, so has a value of 2+6 (26th letter), or "8."






General meanings of the numbers 1 - 9 are:
